Gwendolyn Rooker is a dedicated member of Philadelphia’s prolific underground performance community. She has performed with Brat Productions, Hotel Obligado, Johnny Showcase and the Lefty Lucy Cabaret, Lee Etzold and My Kinda Pony, Ombelico Mask Ensemble, Shakespeare in Clark Park and Tribe of Fools. She also co-founded and conceived works for the puppet-centric, warehouse-space based Hangnail Productions. Gwendolyn volunteers for Clowns Without Borders, and has performed for vulnerable children in Egypt, Sudan and Louisiana. She holds a BA in Theatre and a Certificate of Training from the Dell’ Arte International School of Physical Theatre. Some nights she plays in the band Acres of Diamonds.
