HAUNTED POE Gets a Nod in PW's Mid-Season Report Card

in
Philadelphia Weekly

J. Cooper Robb, writing in this week's Philadelphia Weekly, singled out numerous shows as highlights to the theatre season thus far. Admirable productions noted by Robb included The Long Christmas Ride Home (Azuka), Little Shop of Horrors (Theatre Horizon & 11th Hour), Cabinet of Wonders (Gas and Electric Arts) and Company (EgoPo).

But the highest praise was reserved for Brat Productions: "For sheer ingenuity nothing matched Brat Productions’ theatrical treat Haunted Poe. Conceived as a haunted house with spooky hallways and a host of eerie chambers, director Madi Distefano and her imaginative designers brought the tales of Edgar Allen Poe to life in terrifying detail. An instant classic, Haunted Poe was easily the most innovative show of the season’s opening half and a triumphant return to form for the pioneering Brat."
