we're wide awake

Q: If I buy a ticket at the start of the 24 hours, can I stay the whole time?
A: Yes! PLEASE NOTE: When you buy a ticket you are guaranteed a seat for a 2-hour block of time (so you can see the actors switch roles in back-to-back shows). You can stay for as long as you like if other shows are not sold out. In our experience--having done this 2 other times--the late-nite/early morn hours usually have plenty of seats, while the beginning and ending shows sell out fast.
Q: If I buy a ticket for the 6pm show on Saturday am I guaranteed a seat for the last two shows?
A: YES. 6PM Saturday is the FINAL 2-hour block. If you buy for that time, you will be assured a seat when the actors drag themselves to the finish line.
Q: If I buy a ticket for the 6pm show on Saturday, can I come for the 2am & 3am shows before it?
A: Absolutely. We’ll be brewing free Mugshots Coffee all night for you.
Q: What would keep me from getting into a show that isn't my specific time on my ticket?
A: Only a house full of people who bought tix for that specific time. As mentioned above, usually the first and last shows are the most popular, so plan accordingly.
Q: Will there be free pillows, blankets, and a movie on this flight?
A: This show is strictly BYOB – Bring Your Own Blankie! However, we will have lots of liquid refreshment to keep you warm and cozy.
Q: If we go on Saturday night, will the actors be totally exhausted??!! Should we try to make it Friday if possible?
A: Great question! The "exhaustion" factor is part of the entertainment and purpose of the production. Each show is different, even though the lines and timing are exactly the same. Any time is good because you never know how the actors might deal with the fatigue (and possibly boredom). There are tons of variables! The energy of the audience will definitely help keep them going.
Q: Our group is having drinks beforehand, is this the type of thing that we can come late to?
A: If you have seats for the 8-10PM block but show up late, we won't sell them out from under you. You can come in at 8:15 or whenever...then stay for the second (9PM) show, in which actors switch roles. Your reserved block continues until 9:55 which is the end of 2 shows. At this point ALL PATRONS EXIT INTO THE LOBBY so a new group of ticketholders with guaranteed seats can enter. If there are seats still open, you can walk back in for another block! This format will be in effect for all 24 hours...you can see the show whenever there is room--in theory, all 24 times!
Q: This is such a cool idea for a production. Can I text my friends during the show and tell them how it’s going?
A: Actually, yes. Texting and/or twittering is allowed. No phone calls, though…we have to draw the line somewhere! You can also leave at any time, and come back whenever you want (as long as seats remain).
Q: Two more important questions: is there a bar at the Annenberg? Can you recommend a place nearby?
A: There is not a bar at the Annenberg, but we will have special treats on hand to make for a fun event. Nearby bars: On Sansom between 34th and 35th are White Dog, New Deck Tavern, and La Terrasse.
