Originally produced for the first New York and Philadelphia Fringe Festivals, this Brat classic was completely re-worked to kick off our 10th Anniversary Season. Rock-a-billy, strippers, crystal meth, cheerleaders, and PBR mixed together for the wildest road trip to ever hit a Philadelphia stage. A sold-out hit for the 2006 Philly Fringe, bigger, badder, and better than ever.

We hooked up 5 bands with 5 writers. Teams had 3 days to write a short, new rock & roll musical. Actors and directors had 2 days of staging. On days 6 and 7, teams hit the playoffs, performing their THREE CHORD FICTION for a live audience.

Philadelphia Metro's "Best Production of 2007" and
"Best Performance of 2007" by Keith
Conallen
The Smiths and the Martins are trapped in a world of suburban tedium, social manners, and paranoid suspicions that repeats itself every hour on the hour. And audiences were invited to watch to see what happens when 6 perfectly sane actors perform the same show 24 times in a row.
Originally performed in 1998 in New York, Philadelphia, and Richmond, VA, this Brat classic was revived in 2007 to cap off Brat's 10th Anniversary Season.

"Entrancing...The production emerges triumphant, retaining its innocent sense of inquiry and buoyant good humor while making some pretty serious philosophical points." - The Philadelphia Inquirer
