Jess Conda (Berenice) is thrilled to be a part of Haunted Poe! She has been working with BRAT since 2003 and has held roles as an intern, actor, stage manager, house manager, and casting associate. She was most recently seen onstage with BRAT as Mary in A 24 Hour The Bald Soprano, which will be remounted in January 2010. In 2006, Jess played Babydoll opposite Madi Distefano in the Live Arts hit, Eye 95 Re-tarred. Other BRAT acting credits: Grease and Desist, Moby Dick-- Rehearsed. Jess has also worked as an actor with Pig Iron Theatre Company, The Walnut Street Theatre and Shakespeare in Clark Park, among others. BFA in Acting from Arcadia University. Jess stage managed the Philadelphia, New York and Edinburgh premieres of Distefano's Popsicle's Departure, 1989. Last October she Production Managed Greg Giovanni's Big Messy Retro-Fest, which included the BRAT favorite, Naked Cocktail. Jess also works as a teaching artist with People's Light and Theatre Company and has taught with Philadelphia Young Playwrights and Montgomery Theater, among others.
